I'm a photographer for a living (have a book at Blurb.com under my studio name, Purple Parrot Studios), singer/songwriter/guitarist, sax player (soprano, alto, tenor) one CD recorded with the group Gettin' On Track, novelist (4 in the works), poet (an illustrated book about half way done), stained glass artist, graphic artist all for passion. I'm restoring an 1895 Victorian house that we live in, landscaping and building decks, fence, etc. (It's a little haunted ....) I collect antiques (especially musical instruments). Ummmm, got a dog and two cats ......

Just had knee surgery ....OUCH ! Result of falling off a cliff almost two years ago. Laid up over Thanksgiving week then back to work on crutches for a while. Our church, First United Methodist of Smithville, is producing "An Appalachian Account of the Christmas Story" as a musical drama with sets built on a vacant lot, lighting, etc. with great choir pieces. If you can make it, it's on Dec. 4th at 6,7 and 8 pm. It's free and hot chocolate and cookies served afterward with alternate indoor location in case of bad weather. It'll be a hoot. That's all for now .....ciao. Stan
